Inbound Exchange Program

Coming to AU on the exchange requires the nomination from the home university’s exchange coordinator, who will coordinate the application process with the AU OIA team. We will collaborate internally with various faculties and follow through the application process until the students have received their acceptance notification and complete the VISA application.

Outbound Exchange Program

Prepare your documentation & talk to our team to facilitate the first part of the nomination process. Within 1-6 weeks, students will receive email notification on the nomination along with the access details for electronic portal to complete the document upload, course selection, dormitory and other details. Once the acceptance letter is available on the portal, the student can begin the VISA process and get ready for their journey abroad.

Double Degree & Joint Program

To begin your journey, consult with the OIA team to choose your partner university, program, and desired study period. Our team will then work with the partner university and AU faculty to map out the courses, a step that typically takes about 2 weeks to 1 month. Once course mapping is finalized, students proceeds with the necessary documentation and payment, which may take an additional 1.5 to 2 months. After successfully completing these steps, the partner university will issue an acceptance letter, enabling you to apply for your visa and prepare for your study abroad experience.

  1. Completed Application Form of partner universities 

  2. Copies of Official Transcripts 

  3. Copies of Citizen ID card and House Registration (For Thai Applicants)

  4. Copies of Passport and Police Clearance Report (For Foreign Applicants)

  5. Copies of Birth Certificate 

  6. Copies of Name Change Certificate – If any

  7. Copies of English Language Test Scores – (IELT) or other language proficiency test requirement

  8. Recommendation Letter

  9. Personal Statement (For Double Degree Application)
