Nomination Deadlines

  • Fall Semester: 25 April

  • Spring Semester: 10 October

Application Procedure

  • Ask the AU Study Abroad coordinator to submit your nomination.

  • After the nomination period ends, nominated students receive an email with online application instructions.

  • Course selection happens after admission is confirmed. Choose courses only from the programme and campus you are accepted to (Nice or Lille).

  • Mixing courses across different levels or programmes is not allowed.

Housing Information

  • Once accepted, the International Students Office (ISO) will contact students with housing options for both Lille and Nice campuses.

  • As places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, early booking is recommended.

Accommodation in Nice Campus

Situated near the Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport, the modern Nice Campus overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and offers excellent facilities for study and research.

Only off-campus housing is available.

Health/Medical Services

  • Health insurance is mandatory for all students studying in France.

  • EU Students: Must hold a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for the entire stay. If unavailable, private health insurance covering the full duration is required.

  • Non-EU Students: Must register for French Social Security. Details will be provided by the International Students Office upon arrival.

Tuition Fees

No tuition fees for the Exchange Program if nominated by an exchange partner institution.

Academic Calendar

  • Fall Semester: August – March 

  • Spring Semester: January - June

  • 1 recent headshot photo (JPEG format)

  • Copy of passport (or ID card for European students)

  • Copy of official latest grade transcripts

  • Copy of Bachelor’s degree — MSc students only

  • Resume or CV — required for M1 DSAI & MSc students

  • Motivation letter — optional for M1 DSAI & MSc students

  • GMAT score — QTEM students only

French Language Courses

  • Free for exchange students at both Lille and Nice campuses (Fall & Spring).

  • Placement test before semester start; levels available: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced/Business French. 

Accommodation in Lille Campus

Located in the heart of the Greater Lille metropolis, just minutes from two major train stations, the 21-acre Lille Campus meets high international standards.

  • On-campus accommodation: Available at the EDHEC Residence with two options — kots and private studios.

  • Off-campus accommodation: Additional options may be suggested when available.

VISA & RESIDENT PERMIT 

  • Check the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs website to see if you need a visa. Non-EU students must obtain a student visa to study in France, even with a residence permit from another EU country.

  • All exchange students must present required documents to the International Students Office during the Welcome Session. Students without complete documents cannot be accepted.
