Minimum Language Requirement
Most exchange programmes require CEFR level B2.
Some programmes may ask for proof of English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS scores or a letter from your home university).
Housing Application Deadline
Apply as soon as housing opens.
Rooms are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Nearest Airport
Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam) has a direct train to Utrecht Central Station (≈30 minutes).

Estimated Monthly Cost of Living
Total: € 900 – 1100
Accommodation: €500 –1,050 per month, including utilities (water, heating, electricity)
Food: Lunch at the student restaurant costs about €500
Transport: Public transport is expensive, so most students use bicycles. A second-hand bike can be bought, or you can rent one for about €40 per month.
