Grading System

ISEP applies the European ECTS grading system.

Course Workload

• Exchange students are expected to take a minimum workload of 15 ECTS per semester.

Housing

• ISEP helps students to secure accommodation in residence halls, private rooms or flats.

• Students have to contact ISEP's housing service.

Visa

• Applying for the visa is mandatory for most of the non EU countries and has to be made at the French consulate in your country of origin.

Health Insurance

• EU Students need only a European health insurance card (or temporary certificate) valid for the entire academic year.

• Non-EU students: Subscription to the student health insurance is compulsory for students under 28 years old. The insurance is free of charge. All information: https://etudiant-etranger.ameli.fr/

Estimated Cost of Living

• Estimated cost for living expenses in Paris on a monthly basis:

  • Housing: 500-800 €

  • Food: 150-250 €

  • Transportation: 40 €
