After we confirm the reception of the Home Institution’s nomination, we will send an email to the nominated students with the application process and deadlines. Students should then apply online.

Language Requirements
Successful completion of AU’s English I–IV courses
Workload Per Semester
This is according to the requirements set-forth by the Home Institution.
The incoming exchange students are entitled to the selection of courses according to their needs.
Grading System
Grades are typically submitted through MyUSJ within one month of the last session or exam date.
Modules are graded on a numerical scale ranging from 0 (fail) to 20 (excellent).
USJ Residential Hall
Accepted exchange students may apply for accommodation at the Residential Hall located in the Ilha Verde Campus. For more information, please visit https://www.usj.edu.mo/en/residential-hall/
Student's Obligation
After arrival and check-in at the Residential Hall, students should approach the Office for Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAA) to get to know the team and receive basic information on what they should do next.
Afterwards, students should head to the Academic Affairs Office (AAO), located on the G/F of the Academic Building, with the required original application documents plus the original International Medical Insurance Policy for matriculation and class enrollment.
Travelling to Macao
By Air: Macau International Airport offers flights to major cities across Asia, including Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, and Indonesia.
By Sea: Ferries connect Macau with Mainland China, Central Hong Kong, and Hong Kong International Airport. Travel time is under one hour.
By Bridge: The Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge links Macau to Hong Kong, with a journey of about 30 minutes.
By Land: Macau borders Zhuhai, China. The border is open daily from 7 a.m. to midnight, providing an easy crossing option.

Minimum Budget: MOP 5,000 (approx. USD 625 / EUR 560)
Accommodation (USJ Residential Hall): MOP 4,200 per month, single room with shared bathroom and kitchen (includes utilities and cleaning)

Bus: MOP 130 (Macau Pass: MOP 100 credit + MOP 30 deposit)
