Application Process

• Students must first apply for exchange at their home university. Only after being nominated by the home university can they apply to UWE Bristol.

English Language Requirements

• IELTS 6.5 or equivalent (Not Lower than  grade C in English I–IV).

Healthcare

• The UK’s National Health Service (NHS) provides free hospital treatment, doctor visits, and fixed charges for medicine, dental, and optical care.

• Most students can apply for an HC1 Certificate to reclaim costs for paid services.

• Students staying less than 6 months must arrange their own health insurance.

• Students staying more than 6 months must pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (£470 per year).
