After six months of residence, students must enroll in Taiwan’s National Health Insurance program.

Students without overseas insurance must purchase Group Insurance (NTD 500/month).
English Language Requirement
Exchange students must have at least B1 level English on the CEFR scale.
Previous Studies
Applicants should have completed at least one year of university-level study before applying for exchange.
Medical Insurance
All inbound students must have valid medical or health insurance before arriving in Taiwan and provide a copy upon application.
Students staying in Taiwan for over six months must join the National Health Insurance program (NT$826 per month).
Visa Requirement
Visitor Visa: For one semester of study [Link for Visitor Visa]

Exchange Student Quota & Orientation
The number of exchange students each term is subject to agreement.
Participation in the orientation program is mandatory.
Students should arrive in Kaohsiung before the event and bring a copy of their health insurance receipt to obtain their student ID.
Course Enrollment
Course add/drop is done online one week before the semester begins through the Course Selection System.
Students can register for courses taught in Chinese, English, or other foreign languages.

Housing Information
On-campus Dormitory:
Quad room: NTD 12,000 per semester
Off-campus Housing (Daya International Apartment):
Small single: NTD 6,500/month
Big single: NTD 7,500/month
Twin room: NTD 8,500/month
Students who choose Daya need to hand in the application with reservation form to Daya.
Students who rent privately must submit their rental address, landlord’s name, and phone number.

Accommodation: Quad room NT$12,000/semester (on-campus) or NT$6,500–8,500/month (off-campus)
Food: NT$6,000–12,000/month
Transportation: NT$800–2,000/month
