Special Requirement for Non-OECD Students

Students holding non-OECD nationalities must follow additional application steps required by the Korean Ministry of Justice (Immigration Office).

  1. Submit an apostilled academic transcript and a bank balance statement showing at least USD 5,000 per semester (USD 10,000 for two semesters).

  2. Mail both documents to the Sogang OIA Inbound Exchange Team by November 30, 2025.

Korean Language Education Center (KLEC)

Recognized as one of the nation’s top Korean language institutes, KLEC welcomes over 4,000 students every year, focusing mainly on speaking and listening. Its curriculum and materials are widely used abroad.

  • KGP60 – Korean for General Purposes 60

    • 60 hours of Korean learning

    • 3 times a week (evening classes)

    • 3 credits upon completion

  • KGP200 – Korean for General Purposes 200

    • 200 hours of Korean learning

    • Morning or afternoon classes (Mon–Fri)

    • 12 credits upon completion
