Assumption University of Thailand (AU) is pleased to announce a new academic partnership with the University of Northern Iowa (UNI), reflecting AU’s growing international engagement.

Rev. Bro. Dr. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., President of AU, met with Dr. Mark A. Nook, President of UNI, to officially sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This connection, established through the Network of International Business Schools (NIBS), signals a shared vision of academic collaboration and cultural exchange.

Founded in 1866, UNI has a rich history rooted in service and education. Today, it offers more than 90 majors, supports over 300 student organizations, and boasts 17 NCAA Division I sports teams. It is currently ranked second among Top Public Schools in the Midwest.

AU values this partnership and looks forward to deepening academic collaboration with UNI. This alliance will create new opportunities for joint programs, faculty and student exchange, and shared learning experiences—enriching both academic communities and fostering global citizenship.
