AU and University of Wisconsin–Whitewater Renew 15-Year Partnership

OIA is pleased to share that on February 16, Assumption University of Thailand renewed its long-standing partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater during a visit to the United States.

Led by President Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, the AU delegation traveled to the UWW campus to formalize a renewed Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement was co-signed with Chancellor Dr. Corey King, reaffirming the shared commitment to international education between the two institutions.

While on campus, the delegation met with UWW’s academic leadership, including Interim Provost Dr. Robin Fox and Dean Dr. Paul Ambrose. Discussions focused on expanding student and faculty mobility, as well as developing joint research pathways.

The visit also included a forum on UWW’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, with reflections on the 2025 Enactus World Cup in Bangkok and continued global cooperation.
