Exploring Potential Academic Collaboration Between Trinity Western University and Assumption University

On May 2, 2025, Assumption University of Thailand—represented by Associate Professor Dr. Chaninthorn Jittawiriyanukoon and Associate Professor Dr. Rawin Vongurai—welcomed Dr. Philip G. Laird of Trinity Western University (TWU) to discuss stronger academic ties in Asia.

Founded in 1962, TWU is a private Christian liberal‑arts university with campuses in Langley and Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. It’s known for combining solid academics with practical skills and global engagement.

The two universities explored student exchange programs, joint research projects, and other collaborative initiatives. Assumption University looks forward to building a lasting partnership with TWU that opens new opportunities for students and faculty.
