On January 17, 2025, the Graduate School of Business & Advanced Technology Management and the Office of International Affairs hosted the MBA Exchange Students Welcome Day at Hua Mak Campus.

The event started at 9:45 AM with a warm welcome. Exchange students were introduced to Thai culture and language, including the traditional Thai greeting "Wai" (ไหว้), followed by an ice-breaking game where they introduced themselves in Thai. We also shared useful tips and insights to help them adjust smoothly to studying in Thailand.

From there, we traveled to Suvarnabhumi Campus, where a special Thai lunch awaited at Crystal Restaurant. The menu featured Chicken Massaman Curry, Stir-fried Mixed Vegetables with Shrimp, Sweet and Sour Stir-fried Fish, Fish Cake (Kraeng Pla Krai), Clear Tom Yum Soup with Seafood, Thai Papaya Salad, and Seasonal Mixed Fruit. It was a joy to see the students enjoy these Thai flavors.

After lunch, we explored the Chapel of St. Louis Marie de Montfort, a place of peace and inspiration. A tram tour gave students a closer look at the campus before heading to Vincent Mary School of Engineering (VME). Here, they had the chance to experience a flight simulator and see an aircraft maintenance room, a truly unique hands-on experience.

Next, we visited the Confucius Institute at AU (7th floor, CL Building), where a professor shared insights into Chinese history and culture. Students learned the art of Chinese calligraphy, practiced writing with a brush in celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year, played traditional Chinese games, and tried the Guzheng (古筝), a classical Chinese musical instrument. By 3:30 PM, we returned to Hua Mak Campus, marking the end of a lively and enriching welcome day.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanintorn Jittawiriyanukoon, Dean of the Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management, shared:

“This visit is a fantastic opportunity for our MBA students to connect with AU’s dynamic academic environment. We are committed to equipping them with meaningful experiences that will enhance their studies and careers.”

A heartfelt thank you to everyone from Vincent Mary School of Engineering (VME), the Confucius Institute at AU, and all those who made this event possible.
