Opening New Doors with the University of Fukui

It was a warm welcome at Assumption University on December 17, 2025, as the university hosted Professor Aiko Takai, Associate Professor of Marketing, and Mr. Kazuki Takatsu, Student Representative of the Professional Graduate School of Global and Community Management (PGSGC), University of Fukui.

The session brought together Dr. Chayada Thanavisut, Dean of the Theodore Maria School of Arts; Dr. Siriwan Preechanarit, Chairperson of the Department of Business Japanese; Ajarn Varoth Tontiwachwuthikul, Lecturer in the Department of Business Japanese; and Dr. Thananporn Sethjinda, Director of the Office of International Affairs. During the visit, the guests explored the Suvarnabhumi Campus, including the diving center, and learned more about AU’s background and learning environment.

The conversation opened up ideas on internships and cultural exchange, supporting future academic connections between the two institutions.
