A focused summer experience

Spend two weeks strengthening your Mandarin while living Taiwanese culture in real settings. This program combines small-group language classes, cultural workshops, and guided excursions into a single immersive experience. Early registration offers reduced program fees, so students are encouraged to apply before the March and April deadlines.


What you will do

Mandarin Courses

21 hours of small-group instruction by level

  • Practical speaking and pronunciation

  • Conversation-focused learning

  • Certificate of completion


Cultural Activities

  • Tea culture workshops

  • Chinese calligraphy

  • Hands-on sessions

  • Language partner exchange with Taiwanese students


Field Trips

  • One Wednesday cultural trip each week

  • Two full-day excursions

  • One two-day weekend field trip

A vibrant university city with a balance of tradition and modern life. Located about one hour from Taipei by high-speed rail, it is a convenient base for exploring Taiwan.
