Students can now apply for the Kansai Gaidai University Exchange Program in Japan , where selected participants study one semester with tuition fees waived  through the Asian Studies Program. Kansai Gaidai hosts around 1,000 international students from about 35 countries each year , creating a diverse and globally connected campus environment.
